Sliding Double Fisherman's Tying
Lay out the rope to create two bights. Wrap one end twice around the adjacent bight and insert it under the two turns. Then wrap the other end twice around its adjacent bight and insert it under the two turns. Pull the ropes to make the two knots touch. Adjust the loop sizes to suit your purpose and tighten.

Uses: The Sliding Double Fisherman's creates an interesting modification of the Prusik Loop to provide an adjustable eye.
Name: We have used the name chosen by Jepson in his books1,2. However, others have used the name "Double Fisherman's Sling".
Structure: Laying the rope out as loose "Z" ensures that the two Double Fisherman's Knots enclose the central part of the "Z". When the knots are tightened they grip this rope to maintain the size of the two loops.
